'Cool Science Careers' in Neurobiology Online Game
Cool Science Careers is part of Web Adventures, online educational games produced for Rice University where students can experience what it's like to be a scientist.
Bouncing Pixel worked closely with researchers at Rice's Center for Technology in Teaching and Learning to create games with two primary educational goals; to increase students' science and health knowledge and to inspire those students to pursue science related careers.
When playing Cool Science Careers games, students are matched to one of the careers on the website based on their answers to career interest questions. They can also select from five different career fields (epidemiology, neurobiology, neuropsychology, neuroradiology, and toxicology) and virtually try out activities typical for these careers.
