Touchscreen Presentation for OTC 2015

The team at BP's Department of Emerging Science & Promotion contacted us again, but this time it wasn't for 3D animation. Our studio was asked to create a standalone application for both Mac and PC. The project included two interactive maps to be displayed on a 60-inch touchscreen at the 2015 Offshore Technology Conference.

One map features a Region View that shows the technologies areas in which BP operates. The other presents a Technology View that demonstrates the transferring between locations for each technology.

Bouncing Pixel designed and programmed this demonstration using HTML 5, CSS3 and JavaScript with jQuery, and wrapped it within Node-Webkit to create the application.

Every animated element within the application is rendered in real-time. The design of the map is based on the BP’s design document to support the company's brand and mission.
