When BuffBrew's founder said he wanted people to enter the building “through a buffalo head," Bouncing Pixel knew exactly what he meant. Our team got to work on designing a 20-foot archway, with the silhouette of the brewery's iconic buffalo head punched out. This entry way is supported by a steel skeleton that was trucked in as two halfs that were assembled on site and attached to a concrete foundation.
The gate is clad in meticulously cut and ripped African Mahogany which is mounted on a waterproofed plywood substrate. The assembled structure appears as if a giant stack of wooden planks exploded and attached themselves to the gate in what we call "organized chaos." The Buffalo Gate is destined becomes another one of Houston's iconic Instagram spots.
