3D Oil & Gas Animation Demonstrating BP's Future Oilfield Technology

Our studio was asked by the Emerging Science & Promotion team at BP to illustrate BP's near future oilfield technology. Our illustrations and animation present various oilfield activities, processes, and geological configurations occurring in 3D cutaway views and concept simulations.

BP Upstream Graphics for Offshore Technology Conference

The cylindrical shape of the cutaway is based on shapes easily identifiable in the oil and gas industry; the core sample and the water column. By cutting the cylinder into pie shape, we were able to maximize the use of space to illustrate the subsea pipeline and the natural formations found at various depths within the Earth's strata.
